Unpublished Voter Guide – Boise Bicycle Project

The Boise Bicycle Project sent a request to candidates for two separate items: 1. A Candidate Questionnaire and 2. An Election Forum.

Questionnaire answers were submitted in response to their invitation prior to BBP’s set deadline. However, contrary to the questionnaire’s assurance that “The following questions and your answers (word for word) will be included in the Candidate Forum program and online“ [emphasis added], their online guide only includes a single question from the questionnaire, followed by transcribed answers from the Candidate Forum. As such, please see my answers below.

A previously scheduled commitment prevented me from being able to attend the BBP Forum. While I tried several times to reschedule the prior commitment, I was unable to do so. As I had a prior commitment, I did not confirm my participation in the BBP Forum at any point. Any claims to the contrary, or that I “withdrew” from the forum, are completely false. I made sure the organizers knew I was unable to attend in advance and to make sure my contact information would be available so voters could follow up with any questions they may have for me.
