On the ACHD Commission, May has served as Vice-President once (2019) and twice as President (2020 & 2022). She is currently Vice-Chair of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) Board, on which she has served for four years. She was awarded the COMPASS Leadership in Motion Award in the “Leadership by Example – Elected Official” category.
In addition, May was recently elected as a board member for the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) representing District XII (Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming), where she is able to further advocate for transportation initiatives in the region.
